1970s & 80s were a period when Nepal was facing an upsurge in tourism and travel industry. The demand for Trekkers Tent, Nylon Carryalls, Over Nighters, Garden Umbrellas and other such products was growing by the day.

There was hardly any manufacturing unit which could cope with the growing demand and cater to the demand from tourists and and the industry as a whole. Nepal Tent and Tarpaulin Pvt. Ltd. was established to fill up this vacuum. Over decades we have been aspiring for excellence. No wonder, we are now recognized as manufacturer and exporter of quality products to many parts of the world.

In past, our company has been involved through International agencies United Nations, Red Cross, FAO, gtz, USAID etc. around the globe during many disaster management situations, Tsunami, Earthquakes, human world relief and insurgency.

We rightfully claim to have contributed our own bit in the expansion of tourism industry in our own country. We also had the honor of being a supplier of mounteneering paraphernalia to the joint Indo Nepalese Women’s Everest Expedition and also Nepalese Women’s Sagarmatha Expedition in 1993.

We are the only Nepalese company whose services have been given due recognition by United Nation Mission in Nepal(UNMIN) and we have been awarded with a Service Medal and Appreciation Certificate for our services rendered in facilitating the Peace Process of Nepal.
